Yūgen is a Japanese philosophy about having a deep awareness of life’s beauty and meaning. It describes the feelings and emotions we experience but cannot always fully see or explain.
Instead of revealing everything at once, Yūgen leaves room for curiosity, reflection, and discovery. It reminds us to slow down, look beyond appearances, and appreciate the quieter moments that can carry the most meaning.

Our founders
A shared desire to create something deeper.
Yūgen & Co. was founded by Raïesa and Nicole from a shared desire to create something deeper than a traditional network.
What began with conversations about growth, connection, and the experiences of women soon developed into a larger idea. They recognized that women need more opportunities to meet beyond job titles, expectations, and appearances. They need a setting where they can speak openly, learn from different perspectives, and form genuine connections.
They wanted to create experiences that offer more than inspiration for a single evening. Their aim is to bring women together around honest conversations and relevant topics, while leaving space for reflection, new ideas, and relationships that can continue to grow.
That shared vision became Yūgen & Co.
Together, Raïesa and Nicole are building a welcoming community where women from different backgrounds and stages of life can come together as they are. Through carefully created experiences and workshops, they hope to encourage women to look beyond traditional ideas of success and explore what growth, meaning, and fulfilment look like for them.
